Has anyone used the oral contraceptive Duofem? - duofem and ferrous fumarate
They have the same side effects than most other oral contraceptives? Why is iron (ferrous fumarate) is tablet for the day of placebo pills rather inactive or under?

Oral contraceptives may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
* Stomach pain
* Vomiting
Stomach cramps or bloating *
Diarrhea
* Constipation
* Gingivitis (inflammation of the gums)
* Increased or decreased appetite
* Weight gain or weight loss
* Spots a brown or black
* Acne
* Hair growth in unusual places
* Spotting or bleeding between menstrual bleeding
* Changes in menstrual bleeding
* Painful or missed periods
* The breast tenderness, enlargement, or discharge
* Difficulty wearing contact lenses
* Swelling, redness, irritation, burning or itching of the vagina
* Loss of white vaginal
Some side effects can be severe. The per --llowing symptoms are rare, but if you're one of them, immediately call your doctor:
* Severe headache
* Vomiting
Speech *
* Dizziness or fainting
* Weakness or numbness in an arm or leg
* Seven chest pain or heaviness in the chest
* Coughing up blood
* Shortness of breath
* The pain, heat or heaviness in the back of the leg
* The partial or complete loss of vision
* Double Vision
* Eyes wide open
* Stomach pain
* Yellowing of the skin or eyes
* Loss of appetite
* Extreme fatigue, weakness or lack of energy
* Fever
* Dark urine
* Light colored stools
Swelling of the hands, feet, ankles or legs
* Depression, especially if they also HAVand sleep disorders, fatigue, loss of energy or other mood changes
* Unusual bleeding
* Rash
Oral contraceptives may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have unusual problems while taking this medicine.
