Windows XP Tablet PC Edition is a superset of Windows XP Professional - namely, XP Pro, with special software such as the Tablet PC screen rotation, active or passive digitizer) implement text input panel (TIP. This edition can be upgraded with additional free software from Microsoft --

Windows Vista Business is a flavor of Vista that some of the features of Ultimate, as the Complete PC backup / restore, but not others, such as BitLocker, but not the Media Center is included in Ultimate and Home Premium. For comparison:

all editions of Vista are the features of Tablet PC as a standard, in my experience, these features of Tablet PCs better in Vista, such as speech recognition and tip. The biggest problem is probably with Vista ready, the drivers for the Tablet PC hardware and applications support, may be the performanceTablets is very low, but hopefully these niggles SP1 address.

It is hard to say which is better, on a new machine, then I go with Vista Business, but in an old machine, I would like to continue with Tablet PC Edition - Personally I can not upgrade.
